QSL Cards (VHF Amateur Radio)

The first one of these two cards is from a special event station in Germany, the second one is from Ireland and confirms a VHF connection via aurora.

These two cards are from Eastern Europa - Russia and Ukraine. Both confirm VHF long distance connections via the sporadic E layer of the ionosphere.

The first card from a radio amateur in Japan confirms a radio teletype (RTTY) connection via the Amateur Radio Satellite AMSAT OSCAR-13. The other card was sent by a radio amateur from England confirming a connection via aurora.

On June 12, 1983, I had a long distance VHF QSO (2150 km) via sporadic E layer as OZ/DB4IW from Bornholm Island in the Baltic Sea with a radio amateur in Malta. Unfortunately, he never sent his QSL card confirming that nice connection.
