Germans from Russia in Wertheim

2'500 Germans from Russia have come to Wertheim since 1988. Some 20 of them have learned the basic knowledge of genealogy in the first evening class "Genealogy for Germans from Russia" which was organized by the "Arbeitskreis Genealogie" of the "Historischer Verein Wertheim". Many of the participants are now looking for information regarding the origin of their ancestors or for contact with relatives in the U.S. and Canada.

Some known ancestors of these people are listed below. I ask kindly anybody who is able to contribute to the histroy of those families or who knows relatives of them to write by e-mail.
